Today is finally the day you start your first day of work at Betty's Pets, the most popular pet shop in town! The store owner Betty has a very important task for you: can you arrange the bettas to create colorful patterns?
Betta is a puzzle game where bettas have to be placed in 3x3 shelves. In Betta, each player is assigned a Betta species. All he has to do is arrange the fish in different patterns, for which he gets points depending on the complexity of the pattern. Once all the trays are filled, players receive additional points based on the number of bettas of their color in each tray.
Players place their Betta cards to form patterns and fill the displays with fish of their color. They score points by placing their Betta cards on an empty display and/or creating one of the game patterns. The game ends when each player has only 2 cards left in their hand or when all the displays are filled with Bettas. The displays are scored and players receive additional points depending on the number of visible bettas of their color. The player with the most points wins the game!
Betta has 3 game modes: classic, asymmetric and solo, in which different strategies can be used.
